About

My name is Abbey Fatica and of course I am a MoM! I live in Ohio with my husband, John -who’s helping me with the mechanics of all this website stuff-, our 1 year old daughter, Luci and new baby Jacob -the inspiration for the site- and our 5 year old sheltie, Shelly -she could be Marley’s (from the movie Marley and Me) twin. Needless to say, our house is always on the brink of a frenzy.
As a Stay at Home Mom or SAHM to those of you savvy in acronyms, I have watched in the past year as many people are losing their jobs, their houses and their pride. I wanted to be able to do my part as a citizen to help those who have one of the hardest jobs, MoMs. Specifically, I wanted to be able to help those MoMs who run their own business or make their own products. These types of businesses are usually hit the hardest when the economy is bad and I don’t want to see all of their efforts go to waste.
My idea for this website is to give these MoMs some free advertising and to be an advocate for those MoMs earning a living by being their own boss and by keeping up with the demands of Motherhood. I will also have a blog that will give my thoughts on living in our country today and how my family is surviving the downward turn that our economy has taken and the sacrifices that this mom has to make.
If you have any suggestions, questions, ideas, comments or are a mom with a business wanting space on livingmymoment.com, please contact us at livingmymoment@gmail.com . Thanks!

Founder of The Work at Home Woman

I met Abbey on the social networking site Mompreneur Cafe, where she approached me about the free advertising on her site, Living My MoMent. I’m always happy to find new ways in which to promote my business, and since placing a free ad for The Work at Home Woman, I have noticed an increase in my traffic from her site. Abbey is a pleasure to work with and she is doing a wonderful thing for moms by helping them to promote their businesses – Many Thanks, Holly Hanna
