Book Review: The Lunar Antics Presents: Boy, I’d Hate To Be Made Out of That Stuff
REVIEW – January 16th, 2009: I was recently asked to review a book called the The Lunar Antics Presents: Boy, I’d Hate To Be Made Out Of That Stuff by Robert Walters. I was intrigued by the subject of his book and agree to check it out for him and to tell my readers about it. I have always been a fan of reading the comics in the newspaper and was so excited to read about these Moon Men and the way they interact with Humans. The jokes are clean and appropriate for anyone who read this and I would recommend it to anyone who would like some light reading. They would also be able to share the laughs with children and everyone will get a giggle out of this on some level. I was laughing the whole time I was reading the book and could not put it down.
Parents are concerned about what is in the media and are working hard to shield their children from inappropriate material. The Lunar Antics is a great solution to this problem.
The Lunar Antics Presents is a collection of newspaper-style cartoons about moon inhabitants who are the ultimate outsiders. But it’s not about them, it’s about us. And these cartoons are not available online or in newspapers—just in book form.
The Lunar Antics is suitable for all ages—something that is harder and harder to find these days. The kids enjoy these them; adults see more.
Robert believes comic strips are great for kids developing a love for reading. The most successful people he knows were avid comic strip readers as children.
