Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet!
Hope that everyone had a great Halloween! We handed out candy on Thursday night to all of our Trick or Treaters. To which I did get the “Trick or Treat, Smell my Feet” song sung to me quite a few times. I think the most creative costume that I saw was a robot. He was definitely all decked out and ready to go. His costume was so big that his Mom and Dad had to help him maneuver around. Luckily for him, I didn’t make him climb up and down my porch stairs which are pretty steep for little kids. Luci had a blast watching all the kids come by in their costumes. Next year, we’ll take the kids out but for now, she had enough fun just running around at our house. Plus, I don’t really need the extra candy, cause it’s not like Luci is going to get to eat it.
She had one sucker and I thought she was literally going to bounce off the walls. Granted, it took her like an hour to eat it and I’m sure it was covered in dirt and dust from her crawling up and down our stairs and falling on the ground. We got a lot of great compliments on her fairy costume and I was shocked that she kept the headband on. Even the next day, she wanted to wear it around the house. This is a sign to me that she become more of a big girl and likes the girly things. Well, I’m off to find more candy laying around the house.
Can’t wait to hear your Halloween stories!
